Drain cleaner. Glass shards. Thumbtacks. Molten iron. Batteries.

The abovementioned items are indeed, non-food items.

  • Aside from these, a person who's been diagnosed with stomach ulcer, should not drink or eat the following food/ drinks:
  • carbonated drinks
  • caffeine-containing foods/drinks
  • alcohol
  • highly-seasoned meat/poultry products
  • gas-producing food like broccoli, onions, etc.
  • acidic fruits like lemon, grapefruit, Oranges and pineapples

The idea is to prevent further damage to the lining of the intestinal wall which usually results not from eating foods but from skipping meals and alcohol drinking.
