a piccilo, you could also count the recorder......but they would be more related to the Clarinet
The piccolo, bass Flute, and subcontrabass flute . if you want to get more technical, saxophones and flutes have very similar fingerings.
The Flute is in the Woodwind section/family and the Trumpet is in the Brass section/family.
It's a woodwind instrument. It's a smaller flute, so it makes a higher pitched noise.
WHAT about woodwinds or willow flute???
All reed instruments are part of the woodwind instrument family, but there are some other woodwinds also that are not reed instruments - mainly the flute.
The flute is somewhat unique in that it is a woodwind without a reed. The closest similar instrument is the piccolo, which is played the same as the flute but is smaller and pitched one octave higher. Flutes are classified as woodwinds; other woodwinds include the clarinet, saxophone, oboe and bassoon.
trumpet. (wrong answer) Actually, the trumpet belongs to the brass family. Woodwind instruments include the flute, clarinet, bassoon, oboe... Trumpet person is an idiot
no the recorder is in the flute family
There are two families of wind instruments, woodwinds and brass. The flute is a member of the woodwind family though it's constructed of metal. The other woodwind family members are oboe, clarinet and bassoon (and their variants). The flute is the only member of the woodwind family that's played without a reed. The other wind instrument family is the "brass" family; trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba.
im pretty sure its the flute im pretty sure its the flute
it would be piccolo if it is considered in the flute family.
A recorder
The flute is basically it's own thing... pretty much nothing else is related to it, but the closest thing to relations is probably the Clarinet.... and don't say sax is because the sax is when the clarinet and trumpet have babies
