A good example of a optimistic person. In the Disney version she was a good natured girl and she believed there was good in everyone. But of course when her father died and her stepmother became who she really was out of jealousy, she started to be more sarcastic and stubborn in private but still did what she was told and believed that one day she would have her dreams come true. In the end she got more than she ever thought was possible.....

In the REAL story, her mother dies when she is young and her mom tells her that she needs to promise her that she will be a good girl and love God and that if she does that everything will be alright. She of course does that even though she is beat up by her step sisters, nicknamed Cinderella by her step family, betrayed by her father, and such..... At the end its a karma thing.

One of the movies based on the famous fairy tail is about A girl named Cindy who's father marries a widow with 2 daughters. Her father dies and her stepmother makes her move to the attic. She makes her clean the house and do all the chores, She has so much cinders on her they call her Cinderella. She gets a invitation to a ball. She must do her chores and find a good dress to go. She works and works and gets a dress from her mice friends. She comes down and her stepsisters rip it. They leave and she cries. A fairy godmother comes and gives her a dress, glass slippers, and a carriage. The spell is broken @ midnight. She dances with the prince. The clock strikes 12 and she loses her slipper. The prince has everyone try on the slipper. Cinderella gets locked in the attic. She finds her way out but the glass slipper is broken. She says she has the other. IT FITS! They get married and live happily ever after THE END

Yes, the fairy tale is about a girl, Cinderella, who is treated like a servant by her stepmother and stepsisters, who is invited to a palace for a ball. But what is it really about?

It's about looking past the appearance of someone who does the dirty work and finding someone who is truly beautiful and worthy of being treated like a princess. It's about having someone like a fairy godmother come to your rescue and making it possible for you to dress beautifully and travel in style. It's about what can happen when someone (like the fairy godmother) gives you an opportunity to make good things happen.

It's about finding a prince of a man who will treat you like a princess. It's about having a curfew and the consequences of losing track of time. It's about overcoming obstacles -The prince and she fall in love but he has no idea of who she is - but by using the only clue he has (the glass slipper) he is able to pursue his dream of finding and marrying the beautiful girl he met at the ball.

It's about having dreams come true. It's about living happily ever after.

Many storytellers have told this tale. Walt Disney made a musical cartoon movie that became well known. This has been a musical play produced on Broadway. It has been produced as a radio play (one of the Let's Pretend series). It has been illustrated by different artists in Children's Books. It has been the basis of many novels with a heroine called Cindy or Ella.

the story of Cinderella was actually based loosely off of the story of catherine de medici. of course the Disney version is far from but the grimm version or the ever after version is a lot closer to the original tale. catherine was an Italian woman from a lower nobility house of Italy who lost everything, she was highly abused in her household and eventually travelled to France where she married the king of France Henry de valois (she was the mother in-law to Henry iv - who most might know of a bit better - as he did divorce her daughter marguerite/margot de valois but that is another story.) so she had entered court under some facade and won the prince and blahblahblah. look up catherine de medici and you can find more info on it.

Cinderella's mother dies, and her father remarries. The new wife has two vile daughters who force poor Cinderella to become the household servant.

Cinderella sneaks out attends three royal balls with the aid of an enchanted tree she planted on her mother's grave, not a fairy godmother. The Prince falls in love with her, but she eludes him. He plays a trick on her and obtains her golden, not glass, slipper, and tries it on every girl in the kingdom to find her.

The stepsisters chop off their big toes and heels in a vain attempt to fit the slipper, but the blood gives them away. At last the Prince finds Cinderella, he rescues her, and they live happily ever after.
