Well it depends on what aspect of the culture you are interested in. We have Irish-dancing, our own type of football called "Gaelic Football", we have another two sports, "Hurling" and "Camogie". We have our own language called "Irish" (Well in Irish the name of the language is called "Gaeilge" PLEASE do not call it gaeilc, cause it's not) and we have Irish music etc. If this does not fully answer your question you can leave a message on my message board!
The cultures of Ireland vary on who lives in the area that you are researching, but most of Ireland's culture includes fast upbeat music that is easy to get distracted by, mouthwatering foods like brown bread and angel cake, and a bunch of clothes that are rare to find here in America. I did research on this for a school project and found this out to my own knowledge. There is a bunch of other exciting parts to Ireland's culture that are hard to find here but they are just minor details so I won't list them but some other important ones are there names they give their children( which are very unique!), what they watch on television which probably isn't much because of their climate, and their religions and languages. Now you know what the cultures of Ireland are like.
its what they do is mostly there culture

Ireland is Irish. The term "Irish" relates to Ireland and things and people that are from there. Like any country, Ireland itself consists of many origins, including the Vikings, Normans, Celts and many others. Over thousands of years these have all influenced Irishness in all sorts of ways, to bring Ireland to what it now is. What is now Ireland has a unique culture and is Irish. So the answer to your question is yes.
The name Erin means two different things. In Irish it means the land of Ireland. In spanish culture it means beautiful girl. == == A poetic name in English for Ireland used as a female name. Probably first used in the US. The Irish name for Ireland is Éire.
A large amount of people came from Britain to Ireland, displacing some of the local Irish. The settlers maintained an allegiance to Britain, and for some of their descendants that allegiance has remained until the current time. The settlers brought some of their culture with them and that has mixed in with Irish culture. The English language is the first language of most people in Ireland now. The plantation also brought about resentment from Irish people and set in place the source of many rebellions in Irish history since that time. Protestantism became a strong religion in Ireland. In Northern Ireland, Protestantism is dominant, though Catholicism is still the dominant religion in Ireland as a whole. There are many other things that could be said in relation to this question, but broadly it created a British influence in Ireland, some positive and some negative, that has become part of what Ireland is today.
There is no one region that you could pick out, so it can be said that all around Ireland there are places steeped in culture.
