Doctor Frankenstein wants to abandon questionable scientific experimentation but when a 'mad' scientist , Doctor Septimus Pretorius kidnaps his wife , Dr. Frankenstein agrees to help him create a new creature , a woman , to be the companion/wife of the monster .
