The musical focuses on a beautiful singer, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius known as "The Phantom of the Opera," who terrorizes the Paris Opera. * By watching this your time will not be wasted, it is amazing.

∙ 14y agoThe Phantom of the Opera is an early gothic Horror novel by Gaston Leroux. It was transformed, in 1986, by Andrew Lloyd Webber into what is now a world-renowned musical.
It is the story of a disfigured composer, who secretly trains a young singer, while maintaining the guise of 'the opera ghost' within the Paris Opera. He falls in love with his young ingenue and on various occasions throughout the book/musical and attempts to make her marry him.
It is of course, a lot more complex than this but that's a brief overview.

∙ 14y agoThe Phantom of the Opera is a love story. A girl named Christine Daae sings opera and has a beautiful voice because she says that the angel of music gives her lessons. Some say that the angel of music is something sent from the heavens. but later in the novel she discovers that the angel of music is the opera ghost! The opera ghost wears a mask that covers his upper part of his face because his face is deformed and when you remove his mask then he will get very upset and keep you as his prisoner because he thinks that the prisoner will run away because of his deformity. The opera ghost is the one who owns the opera but everyone thinks he's a ghost. The opera ghost falls in love with Christine but Christine is in love with a handsome man named Raoul. One day, Christine decides to take off his mask and angered, he keeps her as his prisoner. Now that Raoul has heard about this, they decide to run away, someplace where the opera ghost cant hurt Christine; but then Erik (the opera ghost) hears what they are going to do, so he kidnaps her and now it is up to Raoul to save her (if he can find his way to Erik's hiding place).
