He wanted things to be better in the Soviet Disintegration, so privatisation and market and trade liberalization were undertaken. Causing Russia to be in an Economic Crisis (Depression) to be a consequence. Poverty was skyrocketing with death rates. When Boris noticed he wasn't doing a great job. He passed the job to the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin...then another president, Dimitry Medvedev was elected on March 2nd,2008. Putin.Slowly after that, Russia became a Federal Semi-PresidentalRepublic (don't know how). So Russia changed from Communism place to Republic place
