Best Answer

a bystander is someone who doesn't act out when they see someone getting bullied. the best thing i think would be to do is tell them to stop or talk more with the bullied kid. if you see them at lunch or break by themselves you should talk to them. don't let them deal with it by themselves.

Why do bystanders watch a bully bully others?

This is a difficult question to answer. Bystanders sit there and watch because they, themselves, may be victims of the bully, and do not wish to be labeled as a "snitch." If a bystander that just so happens to be a victim were to tell the bully off, they might end up getting bullied further and worse than they have before. The bully may even go to the extreme as to physically and severely harm the bystander for "tattle-telling."
