A person who has had the priviledge of speaking with God may have had his body glorified for a short time. Men like Abraham and Moses. A man must have a body that is glorified otherwise he could not stand in the presence of God. This condition is only temporary. Jesus Christ when He comes again to take His rightful position upon the earth will have a glorified body, in other words He will have received all of the glory of the father. Faithful followers of Christ will have their spirits and body together again after the resurrection and will be in a glorified state.

The glorified body we are talking about here relates to the physical body of the Lord Jesus Christ after He was resurrected, bodily from the grave. According to Scripture, He was place there after dying on the cross. There is much evidence in the gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) as well as in Paul's letter to the Corinthian church that proves Jesus was raised bodily from the grave and that He walked among the disciples, showed Himself to them and even ate food in their presence. He referred to Himself as having flesh and bone. He was able to simply appear in a room where the door was locked and no one could enter. He was able to hide his identity from people after His resurrection and before His ascension to Heaven. The promise to believers in Jesus Christ is that they will have a glorified bodily like Jesus' body. This will be eternal.

NOTE: Any person can speak to God, anytime. It is called prayer and made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus' life on the cross . God desires to hear from those He created. Our bodies will not be glorified until they die and we are at home with God.

Answer:

There's no scripture that mentions a "glorified body." The only passage that comes close is:

"What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (I Cor.6:19-20)

Scripture says that people "glorified God" [or esteemed Him highly for this or that reason; miracles, healing, etc]... or magnified His name and gave Him honor.

Romans 8 speaks of being "glorified together" with Christ... which is different from the other KJV passages. This one means: "to exalt to dignity in company with..." [Strong's Definitions].

In the 18th chapter of Revelation, we find the great "false church" [the Great Whore" of chapter 17]... that has consorted with the nations of the world... causing them to become spiritually "drunk," and "wealthy" through their ongoing relationship over the centuries... GLORIFYING HERSELF!

"How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she hath said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." (Rev.18:7)

The great Whore sets herself above God... esteems herself as God.

So, for the most part, as "glorified" is used in The Bible... it's a matter of "personal priority" as to who glorifies whom, or what. It's a matter of what's important to you, personally, regarding who or what you "esteem highly" in your mind and heart. As far as to whom or what you magnify and give honor.

There is no biblical reference to a "glorified body," however.

The world has its priorities... and the Children of God have theirs. Everyone pays homage to their god[s]... to whatever they consider important. And the Bible reveals the wrath of God is coming upon those whose esteem and honor [things that they choose to glorify in their hearts and minds] is misplaced or misdirected.

"They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify Him." (the seven last vial plagues of God's wrath poured out on the earth; Rev.16:9 NIV)

"Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the Day He visits us." (I Peter 2:11-12)

The Bible tells the Child of God, whose priorities should be set higher than on the things of this world... that his body [which was purchased by Jesus Christ at the price of His own] is no longer his! And that the Godly, Righteous, Holy Spirit-guided conduct of his body in this world is one way to "glorify God."

That's as close as scripture gets to using the term: "glorified body".
