It isn't a good idea to let your 2 year get in the habit of sleeping with you. If they are going through nightmares (slipping into bed with you is OK during these times), or they have a health issue such as any type of breathing problems, then put their crib in the same room as you. If you still insist on a bed rail, then this would be a custom made item for your type of bed. If you know a friend that is good at woodwork they could possibly make you a good solid bed rail.
