it is a cross word puzzle response
Typically your dash lights go out when you are driving with no tail/brake lights. So check those fusses to see if one is blown, this is a safety feature.
they are fused separate but check to make sure someone has not turned your dash light brightness feature al the way to dim
The parking brake interlock on video players in cars is an important safety feature and should not be disabled.
the CD player in a 98 Camry should be in the dash above your climate control cluster. If it is not there, then your Camry is not equiped with this feature.
You probably don't need to change the dash lights. On the headlight panel there is a control to dim or brighten the dash lights. This same control allows you to turn them completely off. I don't remeber on that particular car if the light switch rotates or has a separate switch but all cars have this feature.
There is a switch on the dash or shift console that turns this feature on and off. When it is on, the light on the dash comes on, and the transmission leaves out first gear, starting in second from a dead stop. This is great for icy winter conditions.
It's a light that comes on when you have the sports ride feature turned on. In your SC look at the center console. You'll see a switch that turns that sport drive feature on and off. Drive safely :-)
Telescopic steering wheel means the distance between the steering wheel and the dash board can be adjusted. Like a telescope, you can move the steering wheel forward or backward. This feature allows the driver to adjust the distance of the steering wheel from the dash board as per his height and sitting position. The manual version is available in most of the cars. Some cars have the power version of this feature like Lexus ES 350.
the vehicle is equipped with daytime running lights a safety feature that most vehicles have not alot can be done unless you want to tear the drivers dash apart to take the sensor out that is located near the vin plate in the dash YOUR MOM
Check your fuses, if they are all good, turn your headlight's on, walk to the rear of the car, check to see if any taillight's are out, if say one bulb is burnt, this is a safety feature warning you that a rear taillight is out, "when the dash light's are out". If all these things check ok, your dash might be the problem it self, do the simple things first ;) jr
It most likely had an aftermarket auto start installed. They somtimes use the key to bypass the anti theft feature .
you take out the DRL fuse under the dash. that's the daytime running lights.
