It is the belief in the same God; the Creator; as the one and only one God to be worshiped. The three religions are monotheistic religions: they believe in one all-powerful God.

They also all believe in the existence of Abraham, and consider him a prophet. As such, another term for them are the Abrahamaic religions. (While Jews don't usually accept the existence of Christ, Muslims do (however, Muslims recognize Jesus as a prophet)
