Adrenaline is the commercial name for epinephrine a very powerful stimulant with anti-histamine qualitiles as well. It is often used in cardiac resuscitation to increase the sensitivity and raise the heart rate, and to reverse severe allergic reaction. People who are allergic to bees may carry an Epi-Pen, which is a self injectable dose of epinephrine.
