A: My personal preference is internet fax. It's cheaper (since you don't have to pay for the equipment, paper, toner, etc) And easier to use when you're on the road. You also don't need a dedicated phone line, which is a HUGE plus for me.
B: I choose neither. I prefer to using fax software. I have using Joyfax server for one year and I always think that it is safer to fax with my own fax number. I am afraid that lots of internet fax service offers the fax numbers that have been used by other people.
If the fax means a lot to you, just consider some fax software.
If you just want to send one or two faxes, the internet fax service seems more convenient.
C: Here are a few more reasons why you should use a secure Internet fax service rather than a fax machine:
a fax machine and a fascimile machine are the same thing, "fax" and "facsimile" are two words that can be used interchangeably.
FAX is shorthand for facsimile.
fax
facsimile machine
facsimile machine,
It's short for "facsimile", because the machine creates a facsimile of the original document.
It's short for facsimile - The word facsimile means 'likeness' or 'copy' - which is what a fax machine gives the recipient - a copy of the original document.
facsimile machine
The word fax is short for facsimile so you can find pictures of fax machines on electronics store websites such as Best Buy as well as on the wikipedia article labeled fax.
Of course "fax" is a shortening of "facsimile", so early machines were often called "facsimile machines" and people referred to sending a fax as "sending a facsimile". A couple of other names, are telefax and telecopier. Today, a common kind of machine is a multi-function machine that is a copier/scanner/printer/fax. These are called multi-function machines, multi-function printers, or all-in-one's.
It is short for Facsimile.
There is appears to be no meaning to the term "fax diffain". If the question is about "fax definition", then the definition of fax is a machine that scans a document, transmits it over a telephone line where it is received by a fax machine on the other end to print a facsimile (copy) of the document out.
Fax is a shortened version of facsimile. A facsimile machine is a combination copier-telephone system. That is, you put a document in the fax machine, enter a phone number, push a start button and the machine dials the number entered (it should be a number of another fax machine) and makes a copy of the document on the receiving fax machine. Fax machines are currently becoming obsolete because most computer printers are also scanners that can put a document placed on it directly into a computer file that can be sent to another party via email.
