usually it means when the lining of your uterus doesent shed normally then your period lasts that long. during normal periods it sheds completely and when it does your period ends. if it doesnt shed properly it will continue to do so until it does but this could take months and u could become anemic. so go to your doctor. they might prescribe Birth Control to stop the bleeding and to not let that happen again. also iron pills to help build up all that blood. then they might suggest ultrasound. u should go for it. u will see everything and mught find the real reason. so once again go see your doctor and everything will be better.

Every period is different. If it is more heavy and longer it COULD possibly be a miscarraige if you are sexually active. Other than that, our hormones are always changing and it shouldn't be anything to worry about.

It could just be irregular. My last period was longer than usual too. But then my next period came 8 days late, but then again I had health issues during my ovulation. So it's definitely different for every woman.

A menstrual CYCLE is on a CYCLE. Based upon an average of 30 days. If you are two weeks late then the cycle has come two weeks later than usual?
