∙ 12y ago- Jealousy can rear it's ugly head at anytime and is a waste of energy and shows that the person who is jealous of anyone around the person they love or care about is immature with a lack of self confidence. Often people who are jealous just want the full attention of that particular person; a jealous woman may not want her partner to talk to other women at a party for instance when there is nothing wrong with that and a jealous man may feel the same way. Jealousy has destroyed many friendships and other relationships. However there are some partners that take great glee in pushing their partner's buttons when they know they are jealous and flirt with the opposite sex and this is cruel and disrespectful. A person who is constantly jealous should seek counseling as to why they feel this way most of the time. All humans can get a little jealous over many things, but when jealousy keeps rearing it's ugly head it is time to get to the bottom of the problem by getting counseling.
