The unlettered youth who submitted the below answer, should read a bit about European politics, beginning, at least, with the French Revolution, and thereby stretch or amplify his (or her) political knowledge. Today, in Europe, the right is always considered to be the party sector associated with the interests of the upper or dominant classes, the left, the sector expressive of the lower economic or social classes, and the occupants of the center, who comprise the educated, industrious members of society, the middle classes. Historically, to Europeans, these criterion seem acceptable, since there, traditionally, the conservative right has defended entrenched prerogatives, privileges and powers; while the revolutionary left has attacked them, and the people at the center, by default, have supported all of them . The right, as a class, has been more favorable to aristocratic position, to the hierarchy of birth or of wealth; while the left has fought for the equalization of advantage or of opportunity, for the claims of the less advantaged, and the center, threatened on either side by forces they are unable to resist, acquiesces to the demands of the most aggressive. Defense and attack have met, under democratic conditions, not in the name of class but in the name of principle; but their opposing principles broadly correspond to the interests of the different classes.

In the United States, however, the divisions differ somewhat, in that the right-wing, the conservatives or traditionalists, not a class in the sense of the European usage, favors personal, individual freedom and the rights of all citizens to enjoy the fruits of their personal labors, only loosely policed and controlled by government, while the left wing, today's liberals, favors tight governmental control of all facets of human initiative and endeavor, and the confiscation, by the government, of a portion of the wealth individuals have earned, through their industry and initiative, that the government determines exceeds their needs. This confiscated wealth is thereafter to be used to support others who, for whatever reason, are dependent on the government for their livelihood. As the Communists and other proponents of the redistribution of wealth have decreed: From each according to his ability, AND, to each according to his need.

Well since I'm still young I don't know about politics and policy but I can tell you one of its meanings

In my opinion of things left wing has a tiring part as you are like a striker but you hug the sidelines a bit more and you stay back for defense more than strikers do.

Tips for it

Try not to hug the sidelines to much try and take to the left middle.

Always remember to defend as much as you attack.

Don't try and take the ball down the pitch by yourself (espiecaly on the sidelines) use your team mates to pass through the players, if you get 1/4 past the halfway line you could take it by yourself (not down the sideline) BUT if there defense is strong keep with your team mates.

In a corner wait at the penalty spot if all the men are taken in the area you are allowed as a left wing. if there is a man in the coner pos. for the left wing area mark him.

Use your head mostly in corners or free kicks, try not to use them on the run.

DO NOT hog the sidelines and don't get too close to them always try keep your distance from them as the ball can easily be taken from you there and you are standing out of the game-play.
