-aquatic (water sports)
-gymnastics (balance beam, floor exercise)
-movement education/education gymnastics
-outdoor pursuits (outdoor activities)

Large motor skills and health knowledge can be instructed within each component of physical education. The seven components are, fitness, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition and respiratory endurance.

Emotional - releases endorphins (those feel good compounds released by the pituitary gland and hypothalamus) that work as analgesics and give you a sense of well-being
Social benefit - engages one in a group activity or gives a person a better physical presentation when in group settings (confidence)
