It all depends on the time of year that Ramadan falls in. If Ramadan falls during winter the time is shorter since usually iftar time is sometimes around 5 or 6. But as the days get longer so does the time. Right now in the year (2010) maghrib is around 8:30-9:00 and Fajr is at 4.

He doesn't lie about it. He sponsored an iftar, a dinner to honor American Muslims during Ramadan, the same as President Bush did during his time in office. Both celebrations were reported by the media and there are probably still some photos of these events online. If you are asking about whether he personally celebrated Ramadan, he did not, because he is not a member of the Muslim religion nor has he ever been.
