Muslims testify that there's only one god Allah and his last messenger Muhammad (B.B.U.H). To be a Muslim you must believe in six pillar s of Islam:

1) Believing in Angles.2)( believing in god) believing in messengers. 4) believing in books. 5) believing in Destiny.6) believing in life after death.

Therefore Muslims believe in Destiny and life after death, Allah has guaranteed Muslims paradise. Thus paradise is a "garden where rivers flow"

It is a truly gifted life which has been promised by Allah that is life after death that is HEAVEN.

Hope this helps, more information could be visited to: Abu anafah's hadiths and the prophet Muhammad's hadith and the book of of Allah the Quran.

Hope this helps.

Another answer:

After death we live with our souls only and not our bodies in a place called "Barzakh" which means a tunnel or transit, here it is between life and the day of judgement.

If a person was a good one, then they will be delighted and cheered for their place in heaven, they can see how greatly they will be rewarded and how beautiful their house in heaven will be, how content and relieved they will be. Their grave places will be more like a lighted garden so they wait in pleasure.

If a person is a bad one, then they will be saddened and horrified for their places in hell, they can see how badly they will be rewarded and how tortured they will be for the bad things they did. Their graves can be places of torture waiting for the worst to come.

May God make us and our beloved ones among the good people who did good deeds in life and are greatly rewarded.

Muslims believe that after this life you have the eternal life. You will be back to life on the Surrection Day or Day of Judgment. On this day, your deeds will be judged by God. Accordingly, having good deeds, you will be rewarded, by God mercy, by eternal life in the Paradise. If having bad deeds, you will be punished by Pushing you in the Hell fire unless being forgiven by God. God, promised to forgive all your sins (per His will), if you repent sincerely, except the sin of worshiping partner to the one and only one God, the Creator, who has no son, no father, no companion, and no resemblance..

Quran says:

Meaning English Translation:

{When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again (99) so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. (100) There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. (101) If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, (102) but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. (103) The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. (104)}

[Quran, chapter 23, verses 99-104]

Here's what Muslims believe happens to you after you die: On Judgement Day, you have to cross a narrow bridge over Hell. If you cross successfully, you get to go to Paradise, per God will and mercy. Paradise is also known as The Garden. If you fall off the bridge because your bad deeds were weighing you down, then you fall into Hell and have to stay there forever, unless be forgiven by God the All-Merciful.

afterlife in Islam- we belive that when you die and get buried u get asked questions and to a beliver in Islam the grave Grave squeezes believer with affection like a mother who hugs her loving child and squeezes an unbeliever so much so that his ribs and bones get intertwined munkir and nakeer who are two angels who have dreadful appearance i.e. cauldron-like burning eyes and the whole body (from the head to the toe) covered with big hairs. They ask the dead in stern rebuke to sit and harshly question the dead person:

1st question: "Mar-Rabbuka" (Who is your Creator)?

2nd question: "Maa Deenuka" (What is your faith)?

3rd question: Pointing towards the Holy Prophet Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (may Allah's choicest blessings & peace be upon him), they ask: "Maa Kunta Taqoolu Fee Haazar Rajul" (What did you use to say about him)?

Muslims-the followers of Islam believe that there is doomsday or judgment day or the last day and that the world will be over and people will be called to account on what they did. They believe that for sure. They believe if someone was a true Muslims or mu'min(believer) and you really believe in the One God (Allah) and follow the five pillars of Islam and the Shariah and the sunnah(behavior, practice) or Prophet Muhammad you will be admitted into paradise after you're called into account. But if your soul is a true believer a true Muslim or mu'min you will go to Jannah (paradise). But if you are evil sinful disbeliever you will go to Hell (Al-Nar Jahannam).

Yes, in Islam there is a concept of an "afterlife". It is to take place after the "Day of Judgement" and will detach the virtuous from the sinners. According to Islam, those who were firmly set on the way of Allah will be granted Paradise while the wrong-doers will be imprisoned in Hell, i.e' the Afterlife.

Answer 1The afterlife, known to Muslims as 'Akhirah', is the place you go to after you die. If you have committed a horrific sin and have not prayed forgiveness you will go to Hell, as in most religions. If you have committed only minor sins and have prayed for forgiveness then you will go to Al 'Jannah' aka Paradise which is the Islamic heaven. There holy book is called the 'Qur'an' but Allah, God, also has a Book of Rules by which he judges a person's deeds, eventually deciding where they will go. Muslims believe there are three planes of existence- Heaven, Hell and where we are now. The Book of Rules is basically a huge volume which contains the story of someones life- what sins they have committed, how much they have prayed, whether they have been disloyal, ect. So, after you die you are thrown into the fiery pits of Hell or thrust into Allah's open arms...

Islam has a conception of Paradise or Jinnah, which resembles the Garden of Eden in many respects. This Spiritual Place operates very similarly to Earth in that there are gardens, people, food, beverages, etc. It is paradise in that all of these things come without their negative side effects. Jinnah has multiple levels, each designated for those who exist on different levels of holiness. There is also discussion of the presence of virgins for the deceased, although the number of virgins differs between traditions. Those who did not believe in Islam (or Judaism or Christianity) are sent to the Hellfire which operates quite similarly to the one described in Christianity.
