What is the average lifespan of a horse?
If a horse is completely healthy yes, it might live to be 40 years old, but that is a stretch. Biological factors, riding accidents, illnesses/diseases, etc. make it very hard for a horse to live for that many years. The average lifespan is 20-30 years old, depending as you said on the horse's health. Though someone takes very good care of their horse, there are still uncontrollable factors that could contribute to the horse's demise at an earlier age.

The average lifespan of a horse is 18 - 20 years. Larger breeds and Heavy horses (Shires, for example) can live well into their mid or late twenties.
20-25 years, even though some horses can live for 30 years. horses eatky,,,,,,,,,,
Usually between 25-30 years. The oldest horse ever recorded was Old Billy, who lived to be 62 years old. Some people claim there was a horse that lived longer, but it wasn't r…ecorded, so we don't know if it is true.
\nIt really depends. Like a human can live up to 100 if they are healthy and a horse can live up to 51 years if they are healthy! So it depends.
Around 20 years
25 to 35 years
Most horses live for between 18 and 25 years. Horses that are exercised hard and strained when they are young often wear and die faster, around age 13 or 14. This is only like…ly to be the case with an Arabian if it was raised in Arabia or parts of Africa where horses are ridden and raced as yearlings. Horses will live longer if they are well cared for and given good nutrition.
I do believe it depends on the care the Horse was receiving throughout it's life. I think every Horse is different. My Egyptian Arabian is now 30+ years old. I Love him so muc…h. It doesn't matter to me how old an animal is, if they need to be Loved, I am more than willing to step in.
\nThe life span of any horse depends on the care and feeding during early part and the subsequent years. A well kept quarter horse should live between 20 and 30 years.
A Quarter Horse's average lifespan is 30-40 years, depending on how good shape they are in, how well they are taken care of and how healthy they are.
\n25-- i wish longer!!!
they usally live to 30 and have tons of kids so that the population regows so that's a shitlode of sexz
I have found the average lifespan of a black horse to be about twenty to thirty years. It does not matter if the horse is black, white or whatever color the horse is.
It's roughly the same for a carriage horse as it is for a ridden horse. So long as the owner takes good care for it it'll live a longer healthier life.
Caspians can live well into their 20's.
All horses ( Quarter horses included) typically have a lifespan of 15 to 30 years.
