Accurate conversion from grams to cups is possible only for water, which is how weight and volume are related in the metric system. The following conversion will yield too much of a solid more dense (heavier) than water, and too little of a solid less dense (lighter) than water.
First convert grams to liters: 1000 grams (1kg) 1 mililiter (ml).
Liters and milliliters can then be converted directly cups:
1 militers 1 teaspoon 15 ml 1 fluid oz. 100 ml 1 cup 1 liter 4.2 cups 1 liter 1.06 quarts 1 liter = .26 gallon
Here are the correct conversion factors within a few tenths of an mL:
5mL = 1 teaspoon (level teaspoon)
15mL = 1 tablespoon (level tablespoon)
30mL = 1 ounce
240mL =8 ounces (1 cup)
1000mL/1 liter =33.8 ounces
Keep in mind 1gram = 1mL
Answer #2
Technically, there is a conversion from grams to cups, but unfortunately, it has letters and numbers in it. The formula would be:
c = g *1/d * 0.00423
where
c = cups
g=grams
d = density = g/mL
and 0.00423 = cup/mL
So, if you don't know the density of the substance you are trying to measure (i.e. sugar) look it up online and go from there. Good luck!
1 ounce = 28.34 grams
1 gram = 0.03 oz
49 grams of sugar is equal to 0.2 cups. This is the rounded conversion but the complete conversion is 0.20711 cups.
150 gram of White Flour is the standard weight of a Standard Cupful of Flour.
55 grams of flour is equal to 0.2 cups of flour. This result is rounded off but the complete conversion is 0.23247 cups.
Depends on what substance your are measuring - there is not a general conversion of grams to cups. This is because a general conversion would be inaccurate for so many goods; for example, 60 grams of lead cookery weights would take up far fewer cups (i.e a smaller volume) than 60 grams of meringue would take up. There is no consistency with conversions, so a general conversion (suitable for use for any substance) is not given.
325 grams is equal to 1.4 cups of liquid. This figure is rounded to the nearest tenth but the full conversion is 1.37369 cups.
49 grams of sugar is equal to 0.2 cups. This is the rounded conversion but the complete conversion is 0.20711 cups.
264 grams of food is equal to 1.1 cups of food. This is the rounded off conversion but the complete conversion is equal to 1.11586 cups of food.
230 grams of sugar is equal to 1 cup of sugar. This is the rounded off conversion and the complete conversion is equal to 0. 97215 cups.
Almost two cups. (1 cup peanut butter = 260 grams) so 500 grams = 2 cups less 20 grams.
The conversion of grams to cups is the same regardless of the content of the cup. It would have three grams of cookie dough bits that will equal 0.01268 cups.
150 gram of White Flour is the standard weight of a Standard Cupful of Flour.
200 grams is equivalent to 7 dry ounces, but I don't know of a conversion for grams to fluid measurements.
55 grams of flour is equal to 0.2 cups of flour. This result is rounded off but the complete conversion is 0.23247 cups.
80 grams is about 2.82191696 ounces.
There are 0.4 cups in 100 grams of cubed melons and berries. This is the rounded off conversion but the full version is equal to 0.42268 cups.
Grams is a measure of weight/mass, whereas cups is a measure of volume. It is not possible to do a direct conversion between the two. One must know what is being measured to make the conversion, as 39 grams of sand would be fewer cups than 39 grams of fiberglass insulation.
