The thrust bearings are inside the engine. You must remove crankshaft to replace them.
facing the car from the front... the back of the engine is plugs 1,3,5 from left to right. So the plug closest to the alternator is 1. The plugs closest to the front of the car are 2,4,6 left to right. So the closest to the transmission is 6. The cap has 1,3,5 closest to rear of car and 2,4,6 closest to front of car. The computer automatically adjusts timing so placement of cap doesn't have to be exact.
