The National Cotton Council's Economics Data Center offers a variety of different data on this subject. You can find this information here: http://www.cotton.org/econ/prices/monthly.cfm Because there's more than one price index, im hesistant to offer a straight answer... but the general index lists the average worldwide price for cotton at 75.2 cents a pound.
