The first difference of course is goin to be the two extra cylinders. Depending on the make and model of the two cars in question the difference is usually in the amount of horse power the car has and also in fuel consumption. the six cylinder will probably have more horse power but will also use more fuel. The four cylinder will have less power but will also use less fuel. hope this helps.
