Jacob Black exposes to Charlie (Bella's dad) that Bella has been riding around a motorcycle, getting hurt, and lying to him about it. Charlie is furious and Bella (with edward) is as well. Jacob is waiting for her out in the front lawn, and reminds edward that the treaty states they can't bite a human, not kill. Bella gets defensive, all the while Charlie is yelling for her to get inside so he can punish her. The story ends that edward and her turn their backs on Jacob and Bella sees jakes face crumple in pain. The ending statement is one that Edward and her would be able to face anything, together.
