that would be the cheetah and they can reach average speeds of 65-70 miles and hour in seconds and they cover 20-25 feet with each stride. they are also the only cat who's claws do not retract and nostrils are designed (made larger for more air flow) for their sprinting. they are a sprinter and can not keep up that speed for very long.
Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake are the fastest moving animals on Earth with documented striking speeds of 175 mph.
The fastest running animals on the planet is the well-known cheetah. A cheetahs' top speed is around 70-74 mph
omg cant belive you dont know! its the cheetah and itss speed is up to 70 mph dang u must be a 3 year old or just natuarlly stupid... haha.... u aint....smart.....like................................................................................................................................................me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fastest animal on land is the cheetah, but only over a short distance. If the prey runs fast or twists and turns enough, the cheetah has to stop or risk overheating. Even a lion chasing an antelope would give up after a certain time or distance has been reached. But, in the Kalahari Desert, the indigenous Bushmen have been known (on a BBC documentary) to have pursued an eland antelope buck for several days. Eventually the eland was too exhausted to go on, when the bushmen killed it. It fed the bushman's village for several days. So, in conclusion, a cheetah may be fast, but it is the stamina of the Kalahari Bushmen, and the stamina of a well trained, modern day marathon runner that proves stamina is often better than speed (sorry, pun coming in!) - in the long run.
fastest is the chetah and slowest is snail
a cheetah and goes 70 miles per hour
CHEETA
A long-legged, swift-running wild cat (Acinonyx jubatus)of Africa and southwest Asia, having tawny, black-spotted fur and nonretractile claws. The cheetah, the fastest animal on land, can run for short distances at about 96 kilometers (60 miles) per hour.
What means of transport people use to travel long distances, why
Yes they are at long distances (derby) But quarter horses are the fastest horses at 1/4 mile sprints.
camel
Airplanes are the fastest way to travel a long distance. - Over short distances, some trains may be faster
Traveling by plane is often fastest, most efficient, and easiest over long distances.
because it is the fastest way to measure in very long distances for example earth to other far away planets

The fastest cat is the cheetah... it's actually the fastest land animal of any kind. And it doesn't run for long, a few seconds at most. It's a sprinter, not a marathoner. If it doesn't catch its prey almost instantly, it gives up and waits for the next opportunity; it really doesn't have the endurance to run for long periods.

By 1903, the telegraph had been invented, so that was the fastest method of communicating over long distances.
The cheetah is the world's fastest land animal. Over short distances, it can sprint up to 70 miles per hour. Built for speed, it has long, slim, muscular legs, a small, rounded head set on a long neck, a flexible spine, a deep chest, special pads on its feet for traction and a long tail for balance. It is also the only cat that cannot retract its claws, an adaptation to help maintain traction like a soccer player's cleats. Distinctive black "tear tracks" running from the inside corner of each eye to the mouth may serve as an antiglare mechanism for daytime hunting.
