Profile Guitars were originally designed to be copies of Fender and Gibson guitars. They started making these copies in the 1970s. They were so good that many people preferred them to the real deal. However, they started making cheaper copies later on, using plywood bodies and cheaper parts. The guitar is probably worth a few hundred dollars, depending on when it was made (the ones made in the 70's are worth more $$). I think they stopped making them in the 90's but I could be wrong.
