On June 28, 2009 The Alexander Foundation in Denver Colorado walked a 1.23 mile boa down Colfax Street in the Denver Gay Pride parade. The boa was laid out in Cheeseman park a week earlier and recorded by CBS news and measured. The Alexander foundation will sell six foot sections of the Boa for $25. All proceeds will go to help gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered people from emergency grants to partial scholarships. The Guiness book of world records has the application to verify that our Boa is the longest boa on record surpassing that of a mile long Boa created in June 2007 and walked down Fremont street in Las Vegas.
