You must be refering to the Valkyries; atop winged horses they carried "heroes" who died in battle to Asgard, where, in Odin's hall, they would party and fight all day. The Norse idea of "heaven" was a never ending feast where all kinds of food was served, ranging from whale meat to fowl, and where warriors would kill each other but then miraculously they would become reconstituted.

Odin isn't real
Odin is often associated with the Old Norse language, which was spoken by the Norse people in Scandinavia during the Viking Age. It is a Germanic language and was written using the runic alphabet. However, there is no definitive evidence to suggest that Odin himself had a specific language.
The Son of Odin was created in 1986-06.
