Safely you shouldn't go further then 0.60 over. But if you are just boring it to do a redneck motorjob rethink it. Look into stroker kits. You'll be 1000 times further ahead.
Most builders feel it shouldn't be bored over 4.065".

Max torque and breakdown toarque are the same...,.the point at which a motor will stop/stall.
You can find pistons to overbore the stock cylinders clean up to .100" over standard. But anything above .060" should have the head modified as well to avoid mixture squish issues. As for aftermarket max bore, the sky's the limit with a Banshee!

.030 is the max you can bore a 92 305 i dont belive you can bore more then .030 over Some blocks you can go .40 over but the cylinders start getting thin and if you are building a H.P. engine you will have problems with overheating
