UT does not have any strict GPA requirements for those applying for admission; however, it is advised that transfer students have a 3.0 GPA to receive strong consideration. Once at the University of Texas, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to be in good academic standing.

depends on the university. but for some, graduating high school/ a GED will get you in. Ivy League schools...not so much. you'd need valedictorian plus a ton of extracurriculars to even be considered

Depends on what type/kind of college you want to attend. A GPA of a 2.0 will get you into a community college, but if you want a 4 year university you need a 3.0+ as well as good SAT scores and showing community service and school activities as well as college prep course work. If you have time to work on your classes, GPA, and other things I would suggest you set a goal for yourself and try to work for that.
