My answer would have to be the German Shepherd Dog. They are loyal to their family. A German Shepherd Dog is protective of property and it's "pack". Many will defend their owners with their lives if need be. They can also be very affectionate and loving.

∙ 13y agoNo one breed of dog is the most affectionate; most of the time if you treat them right, they'll love you forever and never leave. In many cases the temperment of a dog has to do with not only the breed temperment and how it is treated (which are very big factors) but also the animal's breeding. Dogs that have been inbred tend to exhibit more personality problems than dogs that have not been inbred.
