inorder to avoid the inter mixing of various input signals each signal is provideed with some time delay
Propagation delay is the time it takes for electronic devices to switch from one logic state to another.

A time delay relay is used in applications that have a need to be automatically switched on and off. A few applications that require time delay relays are strobe lights, stoplights, and Christmas tree lights.
Electronic computer is may faster and smaller than the first developed computer. Electronic computers today uses small electronic devices and integrated circuits. Long time ago they use vacuum tubes which are huge.
time delay valve is nothing but when a certain pressure is reached the valve will actuate it when the delay reaches
Depends on the duration of the call. The time delay would be about 17 minutes forgetting about electronic switching.

right about time delay in email exchange
Probably PayPal has a delay, you need to wait some time.
A relay is a kind of electrical switch which interconnects an electric circuit. It works using an electromagnet which makes or breaks a contact when a voltage is applied to the coil. It is activated immediately when voltage is applied. In a relay delay, the electromagnet is not energized instantaneously when a voltage is applied. It is activated after a fixed set of time or programmed time.Various types of delay mechanism are available, some fixed, some with variable time delay. The timing mechanism can be mechanical, motorized or electronic.
As burn-in for electronic devices is the term used to describe the quality control testing phase of an electronic device then life gets very interesting, very quickly. Integrated Circuits are burned in, assembled devices are test for a time set by the manufacturer which is long enough to find any faulty devices and short enough to save the company money
The short answer: Yes. The Long Answer: In Layman's terms yes, but not necessarily. It depends on who you're talking to. If you are talking to anyone working on electrical things, they think of fuses for electrical circuits. Fuses for electrical circuits protect electronics (any device needing electricity) from an overload. Many devices need a lot more electricity to start up than to keep running. A time delay fuse will allow for a small spike in the current (start up) and not burn out. A regular fuse will not allow for any spike in the current and break. I have not yet heard anyone refer to a time delay fuse as a slow burn fuse, but it could be called that. A slow burn fuse has to do with pyrotechnics and chemical rockets. It is simply a fuse that burns slowly. I could also see the terms being used interchangeably in this case too.
