Western Samoa is the name American Samoans use to describe the independent nation Samoa. It consists of two Islands with the western one resembling a lob-sided kite, annd the eastern one looks a little like a sideways madagascar. The two islands are about the same size Western Samoa is NOT a term derived from American Samoans! Western Samoa was given this name in colonial times when this country was not governed independently, so that foreign countries could distinguish between this part of Samoa and the eastern part (later named American Samoa) In the mid 90's however, the Samoan government changed the name by erasing the "western" part leaving Samoa. Samoa is now governed independently. Follow this link for more information on the geography of Samoa. http://www.classbrain.com/art_cr/publish/samoa_geography.shtml

Tonga's total land mass is 748 sq.kms and Samoa's total land mass is 2831 sq.kms....So based on land mass alone, Samoa is bigger. For some reason wikianswers wont let me add a related link so copy and paste this for more information. http://www.signispacific.org/member.html
Western Mass Pioneers was created in 1998.
The regions are Greater Boston; Northeast Mass; Southeast Mass; Central Mass; Western Mass.
Could be, because Hawaii would have a bigger land mass than Samoa
Liquids have a definite mass and volume, but not a shape.
changes the shape but not the mass
No. Mass is independent of shape. The mass, as measured by weight, will be the same. If the material is compressible and you change the volume as a result of changing the shape, the density will change although the mass will not.
if the shape changes the mass changes
Besides the fact that a mass needs to have some sort of shape there is no relationship.
The shape of an object bears no relation to the mass of an object.
A shape is a square, circle, etc. Mass is anything that takes up space. A shape can be a mass, but the definition of a mass is not a shape. The shapes are made up of mass. I'm starting to confuse myself here so I hope I answered your question and if I didn't good luck finding a better answer.
