1.8.4.3.6.5.7.2 standard Chevy timing/firing order. the #1 on the distributor will be pointing @ the #1 cyl when @ top dead center.( front drivers side.
The 1993 Chevy Lumina 3.1 liter engine timing belt can be found on the front of the engine. You will need to remove the front engine cover in order to access the timing belt.
Its the brown wire from the distributor, goes to the fuses/relays on your firewall. unhook that and you will have your base timing.
