You're going to want great tack. Jack rabbit tack really, but if you can't afford that work up to jumping tack, which you can buy in Appleton I believe.
Then you want a draft horse, a horse that can have great strength.
Breed doesn't matter so much as the combination on speed and strength you achieve with tack/foal.
I know that you should:
- Hold down the right arrow key to go faster.
- Have a horse/tack/companion that is good in speed and strength. (aka Pegasus, Jackrabbit or Jumping tack and foals, dragons or phoenixes as companion)
- Get as many big jumps as possible.
- Big Jump as soon as the number on the top right changes.
-Wear jumping clothes to add an extra big jump.
- Constantly go to the barn/farrier.
- Land as close to the jump as possible.
Draft breeds are usually the best jumpers, as says JimmyNow. (Who is the best jumper of HI, getting a score of 9294 on brown server.) But the jumping character says Zebras are, and I agree.

To get a good simple jump score you need to do two things -
Hope that helps :)
Okay, so here is the trick to simple jumping on horseisle.
First, you'll need some good tack, like jackrabbit or pegasus. If you can't afford these, than jumping tack will be best.
Hold down the right arrow key while doing the course.
It helps alot. The faster the speed, the better the score.
The course is basically designed to see how fast you
can complete it.
Having no hits helps too.
Try maxing a good horse in speed and strength. A bad hrose won't help you much.
ALSO: TRY TO USE UP YOUR BIG JUMPS RIGHT AWAY.

Good tack like peggy and iccey and your horse having a lot of experience.
Jumping scores depend on how fast and accurate you get through the course. I've heard a Selle Francaise (spelling?) Is a good jumping horse. The added help of companions and special tack improve one's advantage as well. Timing the stride of your horse right, using big jumps, and getting through fast is the best way to get a high score. Hope this helps! <><
First, get peggy tack Then, max your horse Then, practice Pretty much, the basics. the developers of the site did a pretty good job of avoiding loop holes. Theres no cheats, I believe.
The most important things to remember would be:Try to make your horses maxed. When maxed, they have extra big jumps.Always use all your big jumps first, then use your small jumps if you don't have enough big ones.Horses with good strength are usually good jumpers. For example, a draft breed (like a Shire).Companions with high + are good with jumping. Foals and or phoenixs/dragons are best.Try to have good jumping tack. Jack rabbit tack is O.K, but I personally prefer pegasus tack.Another important point is to land as close to the jumps as possible. Also, it's all about speed. The faster you finish, the better your score, though the horse's speed stat doesn't necessarily play a huge role.Improved by StormCloud, Brown Server.
Jumping rope is known as a skipping rope in the UK. It is a very good and simple means to exercise - much used by boxers during training.
For Simple Jumping it is about your ability to play the game. The horse's stats have very little to do with it. It's about how long it takes you to run the course, if you hit any jumps and as it says on the screen when you enter SIMPLE jumping horse stats/tack/and companions have little to no effect. Wearing jumping attire and helmets adds 1 extra big jump. That is about all you have to affect it. Make sure he;s got energy, fed, and watered and try to not hit jumps and I have read, and seem to have confirmed that landing near the base of the jump elevates your score.I am still practicing so not confirmed any additional helpsOn the Advanced Jumping Arena, here are some tips:-Keep your horses well fed, watered, and rested.-Wear jumping clothes (bought from Shelton) to get an extra jump.-Be sure the horse has shoes (hooves) on.-Draft breeds and or Zebras are usually the best jumpers.-Good jumping tack is a must.-Usually foals (and or phoenix/dragons) are a must.
That's how a winner is determined. The more mistakes made the higher your score, winners needing the smallest score. It separates the good from the great.
all horses are good at jumping
Simple Jump is scored on how fast you tackle the course. It is best to train your horse to the maximum in speed and strength. Jackrabbit tack is also very helpful if you can afford it. You must always use all of your big jumps in order to increase your score.--CloudRoxBrown Server.Best Score: 9119 with 1976exp Morab, As Good as it GetsHaving big jumps is key to winning simple. To get big jumps train your horse in speed and strength, or buy pegasus tack.
