Your gun was actually made in 1923, that Aug 21 1894 is the date it was patented. I am a collector but I'm really not qualified to appraise your gun, and prices are all over the map right now. Half the country is broke and selling off anything that's not nailed down. The other half are convinced that Obama and Hillery are going to personally come to their homes and confiscate their guns. You might as well throw the "Blue Book" out the window. Your best bet is to search the completed on-line auctions for guns of the same model and era with similar features in similar condition and see what they sold for. Don't go by the asking or reserve price in the add. Dealers are all hard-up and looking for a sucker. Check to see what the gun actually sold for. That's a pretty nice gun and if it was in good shape it would bring in a big chunk of change (in a better market), but right now the stuff that's selling are assault weapons and hand guns. There are a whole bunch of "grandpa's" lever guns on the market and the price is down. I'm sorry I can't give you better news. If at all possible, sit on the gun for a couple more years until things get straightened out.
