The bride wears a wedding gown. In Orthodox communities the gown will cover her up to her collar bone and the sleeves will reach her wrists. In Conservative communities the gown will cover her shoulders.

The groom wears a tux or suit.

Unless it's a theme wedding, Jewish weddings (at least in North America), are always formal or semi-formal wear.

In Israeli and Western cultures, Jewish grooms generally wear a suit (or at least a collared shirt with slacks and a tie). For the actual ceremony, Ashkenazim add a white robe called a kittel.

That depends on the Jewish ceremony:

1. Orthodox Jewish brides are completely covered up.

2. Conservative Jewish brides can wear short sleeves but their shoulders should be covered.

3. Reform Jewish brides can wear halter, spaghetti straps, strapless, and even below-the-knee!

Grooms will wear a suit or tux. Orthodox grooms will wear a white cotton or linen robe over their suit for the ceremony.
