you could be leaking antifreeze and that is what is causing the high pitch noise and overheating. Check the clamps on the hoses, when it gets hot and bubbles out of that, it can create a whistle.
have the head gasket replaced
can the gasket go bad behind the water pump houseing
Reasons your 1999 Honda Accord is overheating can include a leak in the water hose, a blown head gasket, or the radiator cap needs to be replaced.
possiable head gasket
have a blown head gasket is my guess
Could be the head gasket. Very common problem with this engine and model year Windstar.
No, not if it was done correctly and the engine has not overheated. Overheating is the main cause of a blown head gasket.
replace ur radiator
blown head gasket is the usual reason for oil in coolant or radiator. sad part is if you have already replaced intake gasket, u wasted your money as you will have to replace again when you fix head gasket
It is possible that the gasket could leak between cylinders. The overheating and coolant loss would happen if the gasket was failing around the coolant passages.
I had replaced the water pump and radiator. This had continued to overheat but not as bad. After replacing the head gasket it was finally fixed. I was able to answer my own question only after replacement.
If you do not have any external leaks, a head gasket is most likely.
