The Japanese Alps are the highest mountain range in Japan. It is also on the island Honshu. There are not really any beaches because of earthquakes, tsunamis, and needing more space so it has been built on. There are also lots of volcanoes. Sakurajima is a volcano that was once an island itself, the islands joined together in 1914 and it made it erupt. In Japan there are also very big, 'future like' buildings.
