I really dont think you should give a puppy milk. They drink out of moms milk.
I am not really sure. It depends how old the puppy is. If the puppy is like a couple months old probably water would be best probably.
well, i am having 2 puppies and i will like to tell you that .... if he is more than 4 months old you can feed him with cow milk.. as i did <according to vet> if the puppy is more small feed them with cerelac <given to human babies>!!!!
you are suppose to give the goats milk, cows milk is hard on their stomachs

∙ 13y agoNewborn puppies should at first drink formula. It will help them to exercise and walk around. Then, you should start letting them nurse with their mother. If you got a newborn puppy from a shelter, pet store, or a friend you should always take the whole litter.

The puppy may begin to eat different foods as he begins the weaning process. When he is completely weaned he does not rely on the mother. This is normally seen as the time the puppy can leave his mother and go to a new home. When he is older he can drink milk, but too much will give him problems.

However veterinarians and some pet stores have puppy formula, which is safe and nutritious to give to puppies.

It is challenging to bottle raise puppies but it can be done.
