The gods and goddesses in Greek mythology are laws unto themselves.
- Don't offend Hades, the guy is powerful and I need his support, always go to arbitration.
- Don't offend Poseidon, the guy is powerful and I need his support, always go to arbitration.
- Keep an eye on the Titans, some of those guys are dangerously powerful and need to be kept under confinement.
- My realm of authority is the sky and I should be careful about intruding too far into the ocean and the under-realm. See rules 1 and 2
- Keep the cyclops happy and busy I need their thunder-bolts.
- Keep the Olympians happy and busy, individually and collectively they are powerful and I need their support.
- Keep Hera happy and busy and as much in the dark as I possibly can. She can be a bother.
- Women are nice.... Oh very nice.... Very nice indeed.
- All the rules and laws that I have imposed upon gods, mortals and titans don't apply to me. I may flaunt them as I please as long as I don't violate any of the above rules.
- All my children, legitimate or otherwise, get special treatment.
