NSAID's which are used for both pain and inflammation but can be uspeting to the stomach and gastrointestinal tract. There is also a medication called tramadol which is also used for pain. I am on Tramadol and it *does* contain opiates. Tramadol falls into a milder version of a controlled pain medication, but it does contain opiate's.

There are NSAID's such as Naproxen Sodium but they can be very upsetting to the stomach with extended use. There is also a medication called tramadol or ultracet (tramadol/tylenol) which is used for pain.
