I have a 1994 towncar and I took the bags off mine and put springs on them. Ford sell a conversion kit. Its really not a kit its just two springs that fit where the bags are. It ran about 250 for the kit. And my mechanic had them on in no time. Some places charge alot but its simple. Buy the kit from Ford and do it yourself. Also you can find the after market bags on eBay for around 80 bucks.

How do you find out what size shock you need for your Chevy v10 with spring lift in it you don't know how many inchs spring lift is only one shock is bad at the moment on rear passanger side?

compress the suspension and measure. Fully flex the suspension and measure. You will be measuring the length between the two shock mounts. At that point you can order whatever shock you need based off of the length and not vehicle specific.

How do you convert air ride suspension to coil spring and shock suspension?

Strutmasters make an excellent kit, easy directions, a regular guy with regular tools can do it. No it's not an excellant kit it's inferior and poor quality. You can fix your air suspension easier and probably cheaper without depreciating the value of your car. Hope this helps Mark VII Heaven
