This would be impossible to know. That would mean collect all the statistics of every stillbirth, late miscarriage, teens and adults who died in accidents and suicide while their parents were alive, war victims etc. I think we all know someone who has though. I had a stillborn son myself.

What percentage of the world's population is Black?

To answer this question there really isn't a "Black Race" per say. Black is not literally the color of the people commonly referred to as "Black". As a matter of fact "Black" people actually come in different shades of brown."Black" people range from light caramel to nearly black in color. Much of the population of the America's especially the Caribbean nations of Cuba, Haiti's, Dominican republic, Jamaica & others have a large "African" population as well as "African" admixture others like Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela & Brazil also have extensive "African" admixtures, along with the Middle East & Northern Africa. In many Latin nations dark skinned peoples have down played their "African" genes by using such terms as "Moreno" but rarely do they claim "Black" or "Negro"even with apparent African features. This has to do with the fact when colonial Spain & France ruled over the area light skinned "Blacks"or"Mulattoes" were seen as superior to the "Black" African slave populations & held privileges that weren't available to "Black" Africans slaves many of the "Mulattoes" along with the "White" populous later formed the elites of the newly created Nations of the America's. In Middle Eastern countries along the Red Sea their has been mixing with Africans for centuries especially after the birth of Islam. A large number of Arabs in Saudi Arabia for example have extensive African admixture. The Aksumite empire of what is now Northern Ethiopia ruled large swathes of present day Yemen & portions of Saudi Arabia. Ancient Egyptians were infact "Black" African similar to the Semitic & Cushitic Peoples of present day Ethiopia, Somalia & Horn of Africa in general. The modern Egypt we know today was "Arabized" after the birth of Islam. Also ancient Rome had a substantial "Black" population. The continent of Africa being the traditional home land of "Black" people is very diverse there are dozens of visible phyno types such as the Yoruba peoples of present day Nigeria which many "Black" Americans share common DNA with. Also the Amhara & Somali's despite their angular faces & sharp features are actually native to Africa these are just a few of the visible phyno types of the African Continent. The number of "Black" People world wide can range from 1.5 Billion to 2 Billion depending on who you define as "BlacK" as the term is very subjective most people in the world identify them self's by Ethnicity, Culture, Nationality or even Religious. Only in a few western countries like the U.K and the United States are such terms as "White & Black" used to identify people.

Why don't parents support children to make their own decisions when they are adults?

Parents who have difficulty with their adult children are likely dealing with A LOT of unresolved issues from their own childhood and life. If you are an adult, you are free to make your own decision REGARDLESS of what your parents think. If you get caught up in their opinionated drama, then it is YOU who need to stop acting like a child. If you're trying to avoid a fight, when they do express an opinion about your life calmly say, "Thanks for sharing, I'll think about it." THEN go do what you want to do. \n. \nBOTTOM LINE: If you want to be treated like an adult, act like one.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses disown their own parents and or children?

I cannot answer the question for you but I do know that it is true. I don't understand how they don't "forgive" when to me, God IS ALL ABOUT forgiveness. HE FORGIVES SINS! I'm involved with a JW (secretly) and we face being found out all the time. He is terrified of what will happen to him and terrified that he will lose his entire family just for being with me. He takes that chance because he loves me but sometimes I wonder what he will do if he IS caught. I cannot understand how you can disown the ones you love most, I think it is the WORST thing about this religion. EVERYONE makes mistakes, some bigger than others BUT GOD FORGIVES and so should the family of someone who does something that is "forbidden".. More Accurate Answer: . We do not disown family members. Occasionally, a member of our family who has made a vow of dedication to Jehovah God to do his will turns their back on that vow, and we no longer have a spiritual relationship with that person.. That, however, does not break the family ties, nor the love and relationship that goes along with it. We still have a family responsibility toward them, and we still love them, but by their actions they have cut themselves off from their relationship with their and our heavenly father, so that action severs any spiritual ties between us.. That being said, it is true God does forgive sins if one repents and turns around from their rebellious course. One cannot continue to live a lie, or live a life in opposition to their dedication.. Our having no spiritual relationship with them often acts as a motivation for them to examine themselves to see what they have done wrong and correct it, and then that relationship is restored.. The first answer indicates a person is "having a relationship" with one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and he is "terrified" that he will be caught because of what might happen. This attitude indicates that more is involved than just dating. While we do not encourage dating/marriage to those who are not fellow worshippers of God, this is not a disfellowshippable offense. However, if either person is not Scripturally free to marry, or if there is a sexual relationship going on, then he ought to be concerned, not because of congregation action, but because he is clearly violating Scriptural admonition.. 1 Corinthians chapter 5 discusses a case where a person is to be removed from the congregation for sexual immorality, and in that chapter other possible offense are also named. Chapter 5 is only 13 verses long - doesn't take too long to read.). Apparently this action had the desired affect, because in 2 Corinthians 2:5-8, the congregation is told to accept the repentant sinner back.. Additionally . As the above answerer indicated, there are situations where the scriptures command that someone be remooved from the congregation. This is not a suggestion, but a command. It is this simple: Any organization that does not follow the Bible's commands, are not following the Bible, period. Since JW's are a Bible-based organization, we are going to follow the Bible. When the Bible says 'remove such a person from you,' we are going to follow that direction. Keep in mind that we are all sinners in need of a saviour, so a person is not removed from the congregation for simply sinning. he is removed for his atitude toward the sin. If he has stopped, and is genuinely sorry for it, he is not removed. In either case, whether removed from the congregation or not, he is counseled and given scriptural instruction to help him regain spiritual strength. At one time, I fell into severe wrong doing, and I was disfellowshipped from the congregation. That was about 12 years ago. I was helped by the elders in the congregation to regain spiritual strength, to the point that today, I am stronger spiritually now, than I was previous to my disfellowshipping, and I am being used in the congregation in a position of responsibility. I owe it all to the fact that I was disciplined by God according to the arrangement in the scriptures. When you follow God's reasoning, instead of man's reasoning, you will always come out better, even if for a time it seems harsh.. Like the previous answerer, I would also suspect that the "boyfriend" in question is terrified because there is some serious wrong doing involved such as sexual relations outside of marriage, which is strictly condemned in the Bible. It sounds like this person needs help from the congregation. That help may not end up being disfellowshipping, but if it comes to it, that may be the best thing, it sure helped me. In fact, as I see it, it probably saved my life.. Additional answer: I will give an example as to why we do not disown our family. My mother was never really one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she left our family arrangement but she still keeps in contact with us. I love her because she's my mother I just don't approve of the things she does. Another example would be there's an elder in our congregation and they had a son that was really strong in the truth until he just started to rebel almost and so he left the christian congregation. Just because you are disfellowshipped or you choose to leave doesn't mean that you are disowned they are still your family and you love them but you don't agree with what they are doing so you choose to put your own spirituality ahead of their choices.

What percentage of the world's population own a car?

There are approximately 600 million cars, passenger vans, SUVs and light trucks in the world today. Of those about 240 million are found in the United States. It is a little difficult to then do simple math and say there are 6.76 billion people in the world (according to the US Census Bureau) so 600 million / 6.76 billion = about 9% of the world owns a car. The reason is not all 600 million cars, passenger vans, SUVs and light trucks belong to private citizens. In that number you have taxis, police cars, commercially used vehicles like vans and pickup trucks for delivery services, SUVs and cars are used by fire departments, medical services, rental car fleets at airports around the world, even the world militaries use light passenger vehicles. One of the most effective weapons in warfare in Africa is Toyota pickup trucks with a machine gun bolted down in the bed. Likewise you have people who collect cars, and you have households in western nations where it is common to own more than one car. So the percentage of auto ownership globally is actually rather small, with a maximum of about 9%, but likely lower. A really interesting trend is in developing nations, especially Brazil, India and China. In 2008 China became the largest auto consuming country in the world, with its citizens buying more cars than people in the United States or Japan. Even more interesting, the number one importer in China is General Motors, with a similar marketshare in China as an importer that Toyota has in the United States. In countries like China, Brazil, and India, their population is pushing hard for a more western lifestyle, and they see the car as part of that lifestyle. China and India in particular are spending billions on highway infrastructure. Brazil is interesting as they have largely an ethanol based economy, with cars running largely on alcohol produced from sugarcane. That hasn't come without a price ecologically, namely the slashing and burning of rainforest to create sugarcane fields, and the dangers to the low paid workers who work those fields (this was highlighted well in National Geographic). However Brazil has proven you can build an extensive automtive infrastructure away from most fossil fuels. Given the shift in global economics we see today, it is highly unlikely, simply through sheer force of population and growing GDP, that the United States will ever return to the number one car economy in the world. The number of 240 million registered vehicles on the road here is actually down about 10 million vehicles in the last 12 months, as people have sold or taken their cars off the road, either due to environmental or economic reasons. It is actually very likely that the United States will drift to third or fifth place in auto consumption behind China and eventually India, and possibly Brazil, or Russia after the European economic situation stabilizes. This will have longer term a dramatic impact on choice of vehicles for people in the United States, how cars are sold, and what features they will have. Here in the United States you have roughly 160 million Americans who live in the 100 largest metro areas in the country. That means 140 million Americans still live in spread out suburban or rural areas, where public transit is impractical at best, and impossible in many cases (you're not going to be able to provide effective public transit to the citizens of Jefferson, South Dakota or Onalaska, Texas as examples). The elimination of a vehicle that provides personal transit in the United States, or other rural areas in the world is simply impossible until a better of safely and quickly moving people and their goods over distance door-to-door is created. In those metro areas a lot more could be done, and cities like Boston, New York and Philadelphia are great examples. However these cities benefit from infrastructure implemented 100 to 150 years ago, a strong rail network that foundationally was laid down during the Civil War, and public works projects like subways built at the beginning of the 20th century. The bottom line is the percentage of ownership will probably go up globally as India and China fight for world resources and their populations demand a middle class lifestyle, and many in western nations in suburban and rural settings still have a need for personal transit.

What percentage of abused children grow up to be non-abusive parents?

I am not finding any percentage.. a lot of studies and even a book. That states that about 40% of abused children become abusive to their spouses and/or children, or both. From experiences.. I was an abused child. And I did not get abusive with my child and never have. Sure there was the three swats on the but with an open hand, but that is as far as it went. The time outs and the discipline, he is not the perfect child in other people's homes without that discipline, today. So how did I learn to not be abusive? Easily.. I took courses in high school. I took child development and how to treat a child, a baby and an infant. I watched many shows and did many things to interact with children from babysitting, to working with special needs kids, and you name it I did it. You cannot say that because you were abused that you are going to abuse your child, not always. YOU have to take the steps to change yourself and your ways and what you were taught and learn. There are too many sites on the internet to learn and too many classes offered in schools and colleges to not go to them and learn more. There are even classes through many states on how to learn how to deal with an infant and/or a child and the growth and how to discipline. Read on with the sites I gave to you hopefully that is what you are looking for. But I could not find any percentages on this subject. http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/93513652/abstract?CRETRY=1&SRETRY=0 http://books.google.com/books?id=f70GEKYT74sC&pg=PA51&lpg=PA51&dq=percentage+of+abused+children+become+non+abusive+parents&source=bl&ots=Etyqi3LpKH&sig=kkVRJWUg50nW713I4Dd9RkQwvjk&hl=en&ei=A5V_SrCYDce3twfr64HtAQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1#v=onepage&q=&f=false

What percentage of the world's population does not have electricity?

"Some 1.6 billion people, about one quarter of the world?s population, have no access to electricity today. Eighty percent of these people live in rural areas of the developing world, mainly in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa where rapid urban migration and population growth will occur over the next several decades." Source: IEA, "The Developing World and the Electricity Challenge," Jan. 2005, http://www.iea.org/Textbase/work/2005/poverty/blurb.pdf . Of course, this is only an estimate. What percentage of the world's population is Mormon?

As of January 2010, there are 13.8 million baptized members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) worldwide. The world population is approximately 6.7 billion. This means that 0.21% of the world's population is Mormon. This is about same as the percentage of the world's population that is Jewish (0.22%). What percentage of the world's population are not Christian?

As it is hard to exactly measure religious affiliation, and as many organizations have incentives to exaggerate their membership, it is hard to quantify well. Christianity is still generally thought to be the most popular religion in the world today. Best estimates is that around 2 billion people consider themselves Christian, though obviously not all belong to a specific religion or church. Thus, out of a total world population of 7 billion, this means that about 71% of the world is non-Christian.

What percentage of time will each parent have with the child or children?

Depends on applicable law in the state that you are in and the decision the parents and their lawyers make. An amicable settlement would be 50% of the time with each parent and the appropriate hours would be based upon the hours each parent is at work. ie, if a parent works mon - fri 9 -5 they would either get evenings and weekends when appropriate or if they work shift work and the other parent works 9-5 then it would be appropriate for the children to be with the parent when not at work.

What is one thing your parents do that you would do differently when raising your own children?

It is important to let your kids know that you love them and set a nice quality example for them in life. If you get mad or have a temper, it is important to control it and not act out in violent or abusive ways towards your kids or your spouse. Even if you are mad, it is important not to verbally or emotionally abuse either. Kids need rules, structure, and help to do well in life, but parents need to let their kids do some things on their own as they get older, within safe limits, so they can become independent adults. I'm not going to bash my own parents though, just give advice.

Parents are more patient with their own children or with children of other people?

I think parents are more patience with their own children because parents want to know/feel what their child is going to do in next few minutes.not about other people's child Other people's kids. You know your own child so you know where the limit is but you show more patience with someone elses because you don't know them and their limits and don't want them to feel bad.

What percentage of the world's space is Oceania?

If your definition of Oceania includes Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea as well as the Pacific Islands, Oceania's land covers 8,536,716 square kilometres. Earth's land covers 148,940,000 square kilometres. Therefore, (8,536,716/148,940,000)x100 = 5.73%. I hope this has helped.

What the Bible says about parents burying their children?

It isn't part of the usual order of the life cycle but stillhappens especially if something befalls the children. Consider Abelbeing killed by his brother Cain before his parents Adam & Evehad passed. Then there is Haran and many others: . Genesis 11:28New King James Version (NKJV) . 28 And Haran died before his fatherTerah in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

Why should children learn from their own parents instead of them going to daycare?

Many young parents nowadays do not have the luxury to stay home andteach--they have to depend on daycares. By the time the child comeshome, it's time for dinner and bed; consequently there is littletime for 'teaching,' as the limited time must be dedicated towardfamily enrichment. Deb's answer was great and parents shouldquestion the mission statement and philosophies of the day carestaff/management to ensure their beliefs correspond with theparents as closely as possible. Otherwise, the day care may bedoing nothing more than "sitting" kids, as if they were pets to beprovided food, shelter, and naps until a parent arrives to pickthem up.
