Yes, i read the whole book. Understand Young George Bush has finished the first 3 chapters.. Its a long story to share here. Call me and I will go into more detail.. Jimmy Carter. -------------------------------------------------. Ok...I hate when people are rude like this. But anyways...let me …give you a real answer. There is no "official" Book of Secrets, but in order to be secret of course there couldn't be.. However, it is tradition for when a new president is inaugurated, and before the former president leaves, the former president is supposed to write the old president a letter. The tradition has been accomplished with every single president, and is basically supposed to allow former presidents to help prepare the new presidents for what they are about to endure. The letters are also said to include "anything the new president needs to know". Which could be secrets, and other classified information along those lines. It is not known whether those letters have been compiled into a book form or whether the new president keeps it for himself, but there at least is something along the lines of what was described in the movie. I hope this was helpful for you, at least more so then Jimmy Carter's here, lol. Yes, but it is not Known by the Public. the Book is real but is Kept in a Hidden Location which I'm PRETTY Sure you can figure out by watching National Treasure: Book Of Secrets (MORE)

The president's book exists, it has been passed on from president to president for centuries to come. The book is being kept in a secret compartment which only the president knows, after the new president is chosen, there are to be a special meeting between the president in charge and the president …which just stepped down. They will transfer the books, and of course, the new president will choose a new hiding place for it. There were rumors of if the book exists from The National Treasure Book of Secrets, the book from the movie is fake, and no way to be true. The page numbers which contains of the JFK assassination and Area 51 is entirely not true, it contain the nation's secrets, and for the president's eyes only. The book had been burned in 1831, and had been lost during John F. Kennedy's turn of president. The other information of the book are still to be identified. One other thing to think about is that there is a private study off the oval office that only the President can use, I'm sure they keep things like that in there. No place more secure than that. First of all, the question is, is the president's secret book real? You've probably heard of it from the popular movie National Treasure, like me. I don't know whats on the 47th page, but it probably doesn't have a significance. The 47th page is probably going to be the reason for the third National… Treasure. Basically, the 47th page is so they could make a sequel to the series! Or is it? l0l, I am not sure. If the presidents book is real, it might have something significant, but who knows really? (MORE)
The library of Congress is located in Washington DC. It holds all the books published in America. You've most likely heard of the President's secret book in the popular movie National Treasure. I'm not exactly sure if the book is real, for I've never even been to Washington DC. I wish to believe its… real, cause that would be really cool! But you'd have to ask a president if its real, because if its so secret, nobody else would know besides a president, hopefully. It's a secret right? Its a conspiracy theory, do some research, and maybe you'll answer your own question! Some people say its real, some people don't, its a yes or no question but its much more complicated. Hopefully that answered your question. (MORE)

Answer 1: In the movie "National Treasure: Book of Secrets", the referred to page 47, but never said what was on it. They may reveal that in a future sequel. A person close to the movie, Jon Turteltaub, joked, "I'll tell you, what is on page 47 is I think the single greatest secret in America tod…ay⦠which is⦠the plot of Star Trek!" Answer 2: . That's a pretty boring section, really. Just some details on dress and appearance protocols for when re-negotiating with the Xindol for more of their advanced flight technology, thanking them for the cancer cure they gave us or begging them for their star drive secrets. As decided in the fifties at the signing of the Roswell Convention, the negotiators for humanity must be dressed in the same style suits as were worn by J. Edgar Hoover's FBI agents back then. You see, the Xindol have trouble telling alien races apart, and as that's what they first saw us wearing, to see us in anything else makes them think that we aren't really human. So every President since has had to have such an outfit for when he meets with them. Page 47 specifically goes over the shade of black for the suit and pants, the amount of starch for the shirt, and how to tie the tie knot in the modified Windsor that was really just a result of Hoover's men not knowing how to tie it right. It is rumored that Nixon tied his tie correctly once, and that this is why we've not been allowed back to the moon since. Style of shoes, type of polish, and how to tie the laces, as well as the color and texture of the socks, are on page 48.. (MORE)

The U.S. Secret Service hiring requirements are listed on USAJOBS. Generally one needs a bachelors degree. Experience in security work is generally not required as well as police experience. John Tyler's nickname was "Honest John." He was also called "The Veto President" and "His Accidency." The "Secret Service Division" of the Department of the Treasury had been proposed by Lincoln in 1865. The legislation authorizing the creation of the agency had been passed by Congress and was on Lincoln's desk, awaiting his signature, on the night that he was assassinated. However coincidental tha…t may be, the Secret Service was not given the responsibility of guarding the President until after the assassination of President McKinley in 1901. (MORE)
If you meet the service's requirements, of course a woman can work for the secret service!
In regards to the President's security detail, essentially yes. Where ever the President goes he is accompanied by a certain number of secret service agents.
Boring for me- though you do get introduced to a list of 'missions' which are like episodes of a spy/detective game. And the secret base looks better than any other place on club penguin.
The official name is the United States Secret Service (USSS). It isa federal law enforcement agency under the U.S. Department ofHomeland Security.
Yes - In the sense that ALL non-military law enforcement personnel are civilians, the Secret Service is a branch f the Treasury Department, they are not part of the military. Added for clafification: Members of the law enforcement community will, among themselves, oftentimes make reference to "…civilians." or "citizens," but what they are doing is differentiating between their status as 'sworn officers,' and members of the general public (i.e.: the 'non-law enforcement' community). I don't think there is an "issued" watch, but they probably wear what most fits the environment and their specific job. Some good tactical watches include Casio G-Shock, Luminox, and 5.11 Tactical.

Media sources have reported her secret service nickname is "Renaissance." She is also sometimes referred to as "FLOTUS" (First Lady of the United States).
I have never heard any President referred to by this nickname. However, the second John Adams, that is John Quincy Adams , seems to be a reasonable possibility for this name.
The only information I could find on this was a little ambiguous. It's for life, but it's not clear if that means the president's life or the president's spouse's life. (Another section implied that secret service protection for the wife might terminate a year after the former president's death.)
If someone engaged in official business requires cooperation or assistance, they have to be able to prove that they do hold the office, such as membership in the secret service, that they claim to have. A badge, therefore, is a form of identification. Admittedly, once you identify yourself, it's n…ot a secret anymore. But then, the secret service is not always that much of a secret. (MORE)

The Secret Service is like anyone else in government- they havetheir personal opinions on things. But when they go to work, theyare expected to do their job, regardless of those opinions. From what I've heard, the Secret Service generally likes Obama-he's a nice guy and is usually easy for them to …get along with.I've even heard an anecdote about the President and First Ladybreaking protocol to invite Secret Service agents to Thanksgivingdinners at the White House, a gesture which the agents appreciated.
