In the US, the qualifications of a home caregiver through must meet the following requirements:

· Must have a minimum of 2 years of actual paid work experience as a care provider in a senior facility or private home.

· Must have all Employment Eligibility Documents (such as California ID/Driver's License, US Passport, Birth Certificate or Work Permit and Social Security Card.)

· Must pass a thorough Background Check (including a National Criminal Background Check, National Sex Offender Database Check and National Terrorist Database Check.) Driving Record Checks are performed (as needed.)

· Must have a valid CPR Card (unexpired.)

· Must have TB Clearance, Chest X-Ray, or Health Clearance (1 year or less.)

· Must have proof of active Professional Liability Insurance.
