Pete Best was fired by the other Beatles, (actually their manager George Martin), and replaced with Ringo Starr in 1962. He was fired because he was only an adequate drummer and not good enough to play for the Beatles.
"Pete Best was actually the former drummer for The Beatles, and was replaced by Ringo Star. He has two children with his wife Kathy, and lives in Liverpool."
They played in several different clubs in Hamburg, Germany, including the Star Club. There are recordings if them playing there.

They toured with Helen Shapiro and Roy Orbison; when the tour started, Roy Orbison was the star and closed the performance - rather to the Beatles embarrassment - they were huge fans of Orbison - the playing order was swapped over after Please, Please Me got to Number 1 and the Beatles became the stars; closing the concert after Roy Orbison. George admitted they felt quite nervous about "following" Orbison.

What about it? Regardless of release date or country the following can be said of all releases of "The Beatles Live at the Star Club 1962" (Also occasionally known as "The Silver Beatles"): The releases are illegal/bootleg, as the Beatles legally never gave their permission for the recordings. And the sound quality of the performances is very low-fi, these recordings are for completists/historians only, most certainly not for the casual fan.
