20,000 miles is a lot for a 2 year old bike. If you have just bought the bike i would start off with a full service then you can gauge the rest from that.

suzuki gsxr 1000 phantom
Nothing, all 96-2000 gsxr600 are srad the "SRAD" stand for suzuki ram air direct, after 2000 everyone else started using ram air so they dropped the label
Hi ya, what exactly is not working, I'v assumed a few things below. Light at back of speedo, not working but the one behind the rev counter is. on the 99 version you have to unscrew the speedo housing to access the individual bulbs. The trip meter and speedo arm does not work. Probaly the sensor pick up on the front sprocket. Either the wiring is damaged or the sensor is loose or worse the little castle'ated pickup that bolts on to the output shaft is loose. Apart from that they do fail occasionally, I just take mine appart & resolder all the joints and replace any electrolitic capacitors. No fuses by the way Arron arron@teamamaracing.co.uk
The Suzuki GSXR gets about 40 miles per gallon depending on how you are driving it. Some studies show it getting 38 miles per gallon and some show it getting 43 miles per gallon.
You cannot modify a 2007 GSXR motor in a 2004 GSXR frame.
I get about 130 to 135 miles city driving before my light comes on.
